Meet The Trainer

Tim began working with dogs in 2013 as a decoy for the law enforcement canines. In 2015 Tim enlisted in the United States Air Force to become a military working dog handler. While in this position Tim handled two dual purpose dogs, went on two deployments, and participated in over 25 secret service missions. In 2018 Tim began volunteering at a police canine training kennel where he earned his trainer and instructor certification for law enforcement canine teams. Later that year Tim began branching out and training sport dogs for PSA (protection sport association), decoying for sport dogs, and raising his first PSA prospect. From 2021 to 2023 Tim traveled to the east coast where he worked with a large established pet dog trainer. While there, Tim expanded his knowledge into pet dog obedience training. In 2024 Tim returned to Arkansas and opened The Mannered Mutt with great success, helping over 200 dogs in the first year become the best dog they can be. Tim also has extensive experience training personal protection dogs and placing them in homes that need elite level protection. Tim continues to train law-enforcement and pet dogs, compete in PSA, and raise protection dogs.
